This Privacy Policy explains how SwiftDates collects, uses, stores, and deletes personal data when you use the app.

1. Who we are

SwiftDates is operated by SwiftDates. In this Privacy Policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to SwiftDates.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data, such as your email address and authentication identifiers.
  • Profile data, such as your display name, age, rank, region, playstyle, looking-for preferences, main role, bio, voice chat preference, and similar profile fields you choose to provide.
  • Profile media, such as avatar or profile images you upload.
  • App activity data, such as likes, passes, matches, reports, and similar interaction data.
  • Messages and conversation data if messaging is available in the app.
  • Technical data, such as IP address, browser information, device information, and server or security logs generated when you use the app.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To show your profile and allow matching and messaging features.
  • To store and display profile images you choose to upload.
  • To operate core app features such as likes, matches, reports, moderation, and safety tools.
  • To maintain the security, stability, and performance of the app.
  • To investigate abuse, fraud, harassment, spam, or violations of our terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations where applicable.

4. Legal bases we rely on

  • Contract: when processing is needed to provide the app and its core features to you.
  • Legitimate interests: for security, fraud prevention, moderation, debugging, product protection, and keeping the service working properly.
  • Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose certain data to comply with law.
  • Consent: where we ask for it for a specific optional use.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal data with service providers that help us run the app.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to lawful requests from authorities.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

7. How long we keep data

  • We keep account and profile data while your account remains active.
  • If you delete your account, we may first mark the account as deleted and hide it from the app immediately.
  • We then delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period unless we need to retain limited data for legal, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or dispute-related reasons.
  • Server, security, and operational logs may be kept for a limited period for security and debugging purposes.

8. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account using the in-app delete account feature or by contacting us at privacy@swiftdates.gg.

When an account is deleted, we may remove or anonymize profile data, profile images, likes, matches, reports, and other related data, unless we need to keep limited information for legal, safety, or abuse-prevention reasons.

9. Your rights

You may have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • correct inaccurate personal data;
  • request deletion of your personal data;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
  • request a copy of certain data.

10. Complaints

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

If you are in the EU, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and, where appropriate, notify users inside the app or by email.
